Utility Services
Utility Services lies within our Infrastructure business. We work from local offices around the country specifically located to provide expertise where it is needed. Our main HQ is based in Manchester. Carillion Utility Services has over 40 years experience of multi service provision within the gas, water, electricity and telecoms sector. We currently carry out work for most of the major utility clients. Our service provision in each sector ranges form feasibility and design through to delivery of infrastructure works on site, be that for, asset renewal, refurbishment or new build purposes. Our operational capability extends from emergency cover, through to repair, maintenance and renewal and includes a large scale metering capability. We currently have contract with some of the major and well-known utility companies in the UK, the majority of which are built around long term framework agreements.

WaterOur Water capability we have expertise in Network Repair and Maintenance, Strategic Pipelines, Distribution Mains and Flooding Works. |
ElectricityFor electricity we offer full service provision from LV up to and including 400kV. This includes Overhead Lines, Substation and Cable Projects and Cable Term Contracts. |
TelecommunicationsWithin our telecoms business we design, install, commission and maintain underground, overhead and wireless networks. Examples of work include: Installation of Street Furniture, Installation, Commissioning and Integration, Wireless Network and Fibre Laying and Installation |
Gas MeteringWe replace approx half a million Gas and Electricity meters on behalf of our clients. |
Multi UtilitiesBy combining our skills and knowledge in our sectors, we also offer a multi-utility service to major projects and developments. |
